Salvation Army - Bell Ringing |

Each holiday season, members of our club assist the Salvation Army by ringing the bell in front of K-Mart on Palmetto Park Road. Rotarians, families and friends collect money for the needy in Southern Palm Beach County. |

Junior League |

As a way to recognize one of our own outside of Rotary, each year our club nominates one of our top female Rotarians a Woman Volunteer of Year, put on by the local Junior League. This year our club nominated Anita Parial, who has been a major part of our fund raisers and projects throughout the year. Congratulations Anita! |

Family Bingo Night |

This is generally our first fundraiser in the Rotary calendar year (July-June). This is a family fundraiser which, apart from raising funds for the Club, has a secondary objective in raising the awareness of Rotary within the community. It is also a family night event to which the public is invited. Family Bingo Night was started by our former member Frazier Johnson in 1993 and continues in his memory. |

Ambala, India Cancer Screening Center Project |

The "Cancer Awareness and Counseling Center" is being set up with the help of the Rotary Club of Ambala (RI District 3080) in Ambala, in the state of Haryana, India. A well equipped library and conference room will be set up by the Rotary Club and be manned by cancer specialists and cancer survivors to educate people about cancer and how to prevent it with regards to diet and regular check ups. |

Bosnia Orphanage Project |

In partnership with the Rotary Club of Tuzla, Bosnia we are establishing a Mother and Baby Unit at the Tuzla Orphanage. Due to poverty, unemployment, teenage pregnancy, and the government failure to provide minimum funding for the care of children, many children are abandoned. Our program will keep teenage mothers and their newborn babies together, creating a bond that reduces the number of abandoned children and future orphans. |

Boca High Interact Concert |

The Boca Raton High School Interact Club promoted a "Battle of the Bands" at the Mizner Amphitheater to support two Boca Raton High School Students who had recently suffered debilitating accidents. This is a first class venue in the heart of Mizner Park in downtown Boca Raton. They raised over $16,000. The rock concert was chaired by Interact members Ashley Alman and David Bicknell. |
